 | Geckos Arriola Fails Test, Arriola Gets 10-Game Suspension
Friday, October 18th, 2013: The league informed the GEICO organization that 16-year-old reliever Vinny Arriola has been issued a 10-day suspension. In violation of the league's drug policy, he recently tested positive for an illegal substance. The suspension will go into effect immediately.

Saturday, September 7th, 2013: Adam Adams, Sprint's outstanding first baseman, took home the Sub League 2 Outstanding Hitter Award for 2013.
This season he put up some strong stats, including a .510 batting average and a .549 on-base percentage. In 37 games he piled up 79 hits, 21 doubles, 4 triples, 8 home runs, 68 RBIs and scored 51 times.

Saturday, September 7th, 2013: 2013 was a very good year for Papa Johns Knights right fielder Ismael Chavez, this season's Sub League 1 Outstanding Hitter Award recipient.
Chavez hit .469 with a .582 on-base percentage. He had 67 hits, 9 doubles, no triples, 14 home runs, 50 RBIs and scored 37 runs.
